Cretan fruits in syrup
In Greece this kind of sweets is called 'spoon sweets' because people use to eat them with small spoons as a welcome to visitors. We offer you various fruits in syrup which you can combine together with Greek yoghurt for an excellent sweet dish. Or try them just as they are, naturally. All these delicacies are home-made by farmer-women in a small village near to Heraklion, too.
